                   Beginner Courses
 Each course focuses on the basic fundamentals of firearm safety,mechanics, ammo selection,proper shooting techniques and maintenance of the firearm. Each course can be offered as private course to individuals or groups. Each course, unless noted, is taught on a private or semi-private class. 
 
Basic Pistol  
Basic pistol is designed for the  shooter who wants to correctly learn how to properly manipulate and fire  a pistol. Whether you are a first time shooter or it has been a while, this course will cover; firearm safety, proper shooting techniques, ammunition selection, mechanical operation, cleaning and overview of O.C.G.A 16-3-21 and legal statues regarding use of force
 
Duration : 4 hrs

*100 rounds of ammo (50 rounds for revolvers)

Basic Shotgun
The beginners shotgun course will introduce to the student the basic principles of a pump action and semi auto shotgun. The course will cover; firearm safety,  overview of the shotgun, history of the shotgun, mechanical operation, ammunition selection, pattering at various distances, proper shooting techniques, cleaning and overview of O.C.G.A 16-3-21 and other legal statues regarding use of force.
 
Duration: 4 hrs

Basic Carbine/Rifle
This course is designed for the new or active shooter who wants to learn more about their firearm. This course is designed for a semi-auto rifle; however, bolt and lever actions are accepted. This course will allow the shooter to gain more knowledge about their rifle, covering topics; firearm safety, mechanics of the rifle, proper shooting techniques, zeroing , cleaning and overview of O.C.G.A 16-3-21 and other legal statues of deadly force.

Basic Pistol or  Shotgun,
These courses are at least 8-hours long each and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers, semi-automatic pistols and shotguns. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol/shotgun parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol/shotgun. Shotgun course will introduce the shooter to skeet/trap shooting. Student Examination, and course completion certificate will be a part of the course.

 Personal Protection in the home
Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense. This course will include GA law on self defense and lethal force. Student Examination, and course completion certificate will be a part of the course.

 First Steps Pistol or Shotgun 
NRA FIRST Steps Pistol/Shotgun is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol/Shotgun action type for classes of four or fewer students. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol/shotgun model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Shotgun will use skeet/trap to focus on shooting at moving targets. Students are encouraged to bring their personal firearm and ammo to the course.

                     Intermediate Courses                        
Intermediate level courses are designed to go beyond just the basics of shooting and to introduce techniques and theories that are more relevant to defensive shooting. Each course will offer a quick review of the basics for that particular firearm to allow students to “be on one page” at the beginning of the course. After a brief review, more challenging techniques are introduced while still focusing on the previous skill’s that were taught. These courses are excellent for the shooter who does not have an opportunity to train in a dynamic atmosphere and learn how to use their firearm in a more defensive manor.
 
Intermediate Pistol
 This course offers a brief overview of proper shooting techniques in the beginning to allow students who shoot often, but never had proper instruction and opportunity to validate their techniques before advancing to more challenging techniques. This course will introduce the shooter to ; reactionary shooting, obtaining natural point of aim, proper drawing,  magazine changes , one hand shooting and reloading, dynamic shooting and shooting from various positions. This course allows the shooter to learn how to properly utilize their firearm and techniques from a defensive nature and helps the student learn how to operate under duress.

Tactical Rifle I 
Tactical Rifle I will introduce the student to combative theories and tactics using their semi automatic rifle. This is a dynamic course that offers the shooter who is comfortable shooting their rifle in a static setting, an opportunity to learn how to operate their rifle for combative applications. Some content covered will include ; Weapon overview, combat zeroing, equipment selection, reloading, use of cover, transitioning to secondary weapon, unconventional shooting positions, shooting while moving and two man drills.

Tactical Shotgun I
This course is designed for the shooter who wants to learn the intricacies of one of the most lethal, but underestimated firearm that one can use for self defense. Tactical shotgun I will enhance the shooters knowledge of the weapon platform and demonstrate why there is more to this system than the idea of “Pump, Point and Shoot” that many shooters have. This course will cover; Basic functions of the shotgun, history and applications, ammunition and pattering at various distances, multi-threat engagement, rapid reloading, transitioning to secondary, one hand manipulation skills, accurate shot placement, shooting on the move and much more.

Low Light
This course will demonstrate proper techniques, tactics and conditions that affect a shooter when light is diminished. With over 65% of all shootings taking place in diminished lighting conditions, it is vital to learn how to operate under diminished lighting conditions and how to operate with and without a redundant light source. This course will focus on pistol techniques and long gun demonstrations throughout the course to enable the student to make a sound decision on which platform is best for them. This course will cover; overview of basic shooting techniques, one hand manipulations, flashlight selection, flashlight and weapon techniques , principles of room clearing in low light conditions and review of O.C.G.A 16-3-21 and related legal statues regarding self defense.

Concealed Carry
This course provides a realistic and practical look at concealed carry or back up weapon techniques and tactics that will display the complexities of responding under duress. The students will use their every day carry (EDC) firearm, holster and load out for the duration of the course to offer realistic training opportunities. This course will cover; proper drawing, reloading, shooting from various positions, threat recognition, reactionary drills, verbal commands and review of OCGA 16-3-21 and related legal statues.

                          Advanced Courses
Advanced courses are designed to push the shooter to their limit by including realistic scenarios that offer stress induced situations, timed drills, “Motivational Instructions” by instructors and reactionary drills. Some courses offer moderate physical exertion.
 
To protect the integrity of the course and to provide each student with the level of advanced courses, each advanced course has pre-requisites of successful completion of CdM’s , or another reputable training center intermediate level course for the respected discipline. 

These institutions include, but not limited to;Rogers Shooting Academy, SWAT Certified, Academi , Haley Strategic Partners, Costa Ludas, Protective Measures, G4, Precision Applications or recently separated (2ys) from the military with a combat MOS. 

 Law Enforcement and Private Security must provide proof of similar training at intermediate level or higher (SWAT, HRT, SRT etc).
 
Advanced Pistol
Advanced pistol offers the shooter the ability to continue to grow their skill set using their pistol. In this course, realistic scenarios will be presented to the student and advanced shooting techniques will be demonstrated. Some subjects covered include; shooting on the move, one hand manipulation, reactionary shooting , timed shooting drills, weapon retention drills, multi threat engagements, diversion techniques, shooting from various positions and shooting through barriers

Tactical Rifle II 
Tactical Rifle II is designed to give the student an insight on combative applications and tactics with their weapon system during simulated scenarios. This course is moderately physical and requires the shooter to be able to run short distances, climb stairs, maneuver through obstacles and utilize several shooting positions. This course will cover several topics including; Combat Medical Treatment, equipment selection, timed drills, rapid target engagement  (sights must be zeroed and students know their holdovers) , use of cover, transitioning drills, stress induced shooting, close proximity fire control, Intro to small man tactics and precision shooting from various distances.

This course will challenge the shooter by utilizing; stress induced scenarios, multiple reloads and changeover (ammunition selection), one handed manipulations, shooting on the move, threat engagement at various distance , skipping shot and timed exercises

                      Self Defense Courses
Basic Self Defense/Rape Prevention 
This course will introduce the student to; situational awareness, victim reduction methods, less lethal self defense products and basic self defense techniques. This course will have a mixture of classroom instruction and practical exercises including light to moderate physical exertion including, but not limited to; punching, kicking, escaping and applying common grips,holds and joint lock's.
 
Duration: 4hrs
Cost: $75
Students will engage in some light/moderate physical contact and will be required to punch, kick and be placed in stress induced situations. Please check with your doctor prior to taking this course.
 
Street Survival I
Street Survival was designed to bridge the gap between unarmed and armed self defense for the person wanting to learn more about realistic threats and situations. By using techniques and tactics that have been proven on the street and battlefield by ; IDF, Special Forces, Marine Corp Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) and Law Enforcement, this course will teach the most simple and effective techniques. The courses consist of moderate physical exertion including; punching, kicking, light grappling, throws and joint lock techniques. This course will cover; retreat vs react, use of less lethal products, proper punching/kicking, common hold escapes (bear hug, hair pull, choking etc), passive compliance, pain compliance, weapon disarming and concealed carry reaction drills. 
 
This course will consist of live role playing with air soft munitions, vests are provided and students are encouraged to bring a long sleeve shirt.

This course is for those who took Street Survival I or have extensive self defense training and are looking to expand their knowledge of self defense. Street Survival II is moderately physical as before mentioned, but will be a major part throughout the course. In this course, topics will be covered; review of basic fighting techniques and theories, weapon disarming techniques, incapacitation techniques, live role playing scenarios, threat detection, pain compliance, improvised weapons and multi threat engagements.
 
Duration: 4 hrs

              Self Reliance Courses 
Disaster Preparedness/survival courses I,II, III
What do you do in a natural disaster? How can you better prepare yourself and family in the event that you are without power, water, electricity and must rely on your ingenuity and primitive skills to survive ? It starts with these courses which divide up several key elements on how to survive with minimal comforts we have today.This course is taught in a classroom setting. Students should bring pen, paper and notebook for handouts. This course is available for private lessons.
 
 
Course IBasic introduction to home preparedness and survival. In this course, we will identify, discuss and demonstrate the basic essential tools, household items and food you should have in your home now in preparedness for a short disruption of our creature comforts. This course focus’ on short term, one week or less supply list and teaches you how to prepare safe drinking water, basic fire-craft, preserve food without refrigeration, basic heating and cooling methods and first aide. 
 
Course IIIntermediate skill sets and survival up to one month. This course is more in depth and is geared towards those who already have taken basic home preparedness or have experience outdoors camping or hiking with primitive techniques. In this course, some subject matter covered ; what and how to prepare a “bug out bag”, home made survival kits, home made portable stoves, alternative fire-craft, alternative water purification methods and how to prepare simple snares and tools for protection and fielding wild game.
 
Course III. Advanced level. This course will emphasis on primitive techniques, risk v reward, field dressing wild game, water purification, advanced fire practices (Swedish Blowtorch, A Frame etc) and much more. This course is set to be taught outdoors for practical exercises, however, classroom instruction can be substituted in the event of weather conditions.
 
Duration: 4.5 hrs each
